First Lady

A First Lady for over 30 years, Louise Watson Moncrieff, met her husband, the Rev. Dr. Carl Henry Moncrieff, Sr., during their high school matriculation. They were married August 20, 1955 and were the proud parents of four children (2 deceased).

Quite a renowned first lady in her own right, Mrs. Moncrieff is a member of several church organizations:

  • The Inspirational Choir
  • The Women’s Choir
  • Health and Wellness
  • Deaconess
  • Sunday School
  • Shining Star Seniors
Mrs. Moncrieff was born to parents who believed strongly in the Holy Trinity-God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit. Her parents impressed upon their children, one boy and two girls, at an early age to seek God first and follow the Gospel of Jesus, The Christ.

On a personal note, even though Mrs. Moncrieff keeps a busy schedule with her husband, children, grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends, she always finds time to counsel, work, meet, and travel with her church members. Her hobby is traveling and these experiences have led her to visit many cities and states in the U.S. and abroad to Africa and Greece.

Clouds from Heaven have truly watered This Flower.

Mrs. Moncrieff, assisted by the Pastor’s Aid and church members, has developed and implemented many new church programs. She served as “Queen” of the 1992 National Baptist Convention and is presently Secretary of the Baptist Ministers’ Wives. Mrs. Moncrieff has been the Women’s Day Speaker on many occasions at churches throughout the country.
